If you want to see and touch snow this could be for you:
the nearest dramatic mountain to Salzburg City is the Untersberg and you can reach it easily by bus 25 or taxi

From November until May there is a good chance of finding snow.
Our tour to Flachau is a full day trip returning to Salzburg after 17:00. If you just want snow and use less of your day (without winter sports) then the Untersberg is for you!
